Coaching is in demand among individual clients,
and in the corporate environment. The role of a coach goes far beyond counseling: it is professional support that helps a person move forward and find their own solutions. The training at COACHING.UP is built with a focus on your personal development, with support not only in acquiring the necessary ACC coaching skills, but also in preparing for the coaching qualification exam
Demand for coaching services increased by 30% in 2024,
and the market continues to grow by an average of 5-7% annually. Today, coaching is recognized as one of the most promising professions. The International Coaching Federation (ICF) confirms that coaches with qualifications that meet international standards are in demand in more than 150 countries.
Unique opportunities for personal and professional growth
Coaches work with clients in a variety of areas: from career development and productivity improvement to strengthening leadership skills and resolving difficult interpersonal situations. Each client comes with individual needs, and the coach helps them find unique solutions that meet their goals and values. First of all, a coach works with his or her personality, using competencies, so unlocking one's potential and understanding oneself first and foremost is one of the focuses of our training program
The peculiarity of the profession is its versatility
Coaches can work with individual clients, teams, and even entire organizations. Due to the flexibility of the profession, coaches choose where and how to work, and the use of online platforms allows them to provide services from anywhere in the world. Coaching is ideal for those who want to combine high employment with a flexible schedule
Coaching provides financial stability and growth prospects
At the beginning of their career, coaches can earn from $20 per session, and with the accumulation of experience and the development of skills, income can exceed $300-500 per hour of work. At the same time, the coaching profession brings not only financial benefits but also a deep sense of satisfaction from helping other people.
.Coaching - new opportunities
Coaching is a profession that helps people unleash their potential, achieve goals and overcome barriers on their way
.How to become an ICF ACC coach
To obtain the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) qualification from the International Coaching Federation (ICF), you need to:
Complete at least 60 hours of training, 80% of which is based on coaching competencies. To train ACC coaches, ICF offers an accredited Level 1 program.
The Level 1 training program must include at least 10 hours of mentoring with a qualified mentor-coach
And at least five (5) observed coaching sessions, at least three (3) of which must include written feedback
The program should end with an assessment conducted by an appropriate specialist based on an audio recording of one coaching session lasting from 20 to 60 minutes and its written transcription
To apply, you need to accumulate at least 100 hours of coaching practice with clients
And finally, pass the exam in the format of online testing Coach Knowledge Assessment (CKA)
The International Coaching Federation (ICF) (the world's largest coaching organization) has created a system of coach training and development in the profession. A program is accredited by the ICF at Level 1 if it meets the requirements:
1. at least 60 hours of training (80% of the program should be based on the 8 coaching competencies and provide basic skills based on the ACC competency keys for coaches, 50% of the program should be completed online at live events)
2. the program can be conducted by a coach with ACC, PCC or MCC qualifications
3. the program must include at least five (5) observed coaching sessions for each student. Written feedback must be provided on at least three (3) of the five sessions. Only coaches with an ACC qualification or higher may serve as an observer providing feedback.
4. the program must include at least 10 hours of mentoring over a period of 3 months or more. At least 3 of the 10 hours of mentoring must be individual (one-on-one with a mentor), and group mentoring cannot be conducted in a group of more than 10 people. Coaches with a PCC qualification or higher who have completed training in mentoring for coaches (individual and group) can act as mentors
5. a diploma is issued to students who have completed the program, all mandatory activities, and passed an assessment (performance evaluation). The performance assessment must correspond to the ACC level or higher, as described in the minimum skill requirements for the ACC (demonstration of competencies in their keys).
The COACHING.UP program fully meets these requirements, and given our five years of experience, has additions and emphases that ensure such high results of our students obtaining the ACC qualification.
To become an ACC-qualified coach, the Federation recommends choosing a Level 1 training program designed specifically to prepare coaches for the first level of qualification. At the same time, you can also choose a Level 2 program (preparation for the second level of qualification - PCC).
Programs with CCE accreditation are conducted exclusively for practicing coaches who have completed basic training and cannot be conducted for beginners, even if you are offered this (this is a violation of standards - read more here).
What should I look for when choosing a program? The first and most important thing is to check whether the requirements of an accredited Level 1 program are met (because it may happen that the training actually differs from what is submitted for accreditation):
1. the full schedule and content of the program can show you whether 80% of the training is based on coaching competencies and whether the program contains at least 50% of live online activities
2. the program description will also show whether the training is based on the competence keys for the minimum requirements for the ACC level or you will study 37 competence markers for the PCC level (there is no third option)
3. the training period cannot be less than 3 months, as 10 hours of mentoring must be provided during this time
4. the program description will also help you to see the amount of hours of individual and group mentoring (10 hours in total, 3 of which should be in an individual format)
5. you should clarify how group mentoring is conducted in the program. It can only be conducted in groups of up to 10 participants. You should also pay attention to who is invited to be a mentor in the program - it should be a coach with a PCC qualification or higher
6. The program description will help you check the number of sessions to be observed (at least 5), as well as the number of sessions with written feedback (at least 3). Special attention should be paid to who is invited to observe the program - it should be a coach with ACC qualification or higher
7. you should get acquainted with the coaching staff and their level of coaching qualification, paying attention to the final assessment procedure (internal certification of the school, which is not conducted according to the standards or by an unqualified assessor, may lead to a lack of your skills and failure to pass the ACC coaching qualification exam in ICF)
8. it will be valuable to choose a program that includes preparation for the ICF exam
9. information about the number of graduates of the program and, most importantly, whether the graduates of this program really get the ACC coaching qualification will also help you make a decision
The diploma is issued only to those students who have completed the program, all mandatory activities, and passed the assessment: you provide a recording of an actual coaching session with a real client with a transcription, lasting at least 20 minutes.
The performance assessment must be completed at the ACC level or higher, as described in the minimum skill requirements for the ACC (demonstration of competencies in their keys).
Written feedback is mandatory and should include information on the manifestation of each of the ICF core competencies.
The assessor can be a coach with PCC or MCC qualification who has successfully completed the full PCC Marker Assessor training. All other internal certifications at the school where you are trained by the trainers do not validate your skills at the ACC coach level according to ICF standards. You may not be issued a certificate or diploma with the Federation's mark of completion of the Level 1 program.
Candidates for the ACC qualification must have at least 100 hours of real-life coaching practice with clients after starting the training (1 hour = 60 minutes of coaching, if your coaching session lasts 30 minutes, it is 0.5 hours in the accounting). Practice hours must be with at least eight clients. Out of 100 or more hours of coaching practice, at least 75 hours must be paid (the rest of the hours can be gained without payment). 25 hours of practice must have been completed within 18 months prior to application.
Paid coaching hours include hours of coaching sessions with payment received from a client, as well as coaching hours if you work as an internal coach in an organization and receive a salary or project payment.
All practicum hours obtained during the course of study do not count toward the required 100 practicum hours.
Volunteer projects are considered unpaid internship hours. Such hours can be 25 of the 100 minimum required for the ACC.
Group coaching or team coaching with a group of up to 15 people is counted by coaching hours, not by the number of participants.
The ICF conducts periodic data validity audits, so you will need to provide a Log of Practice Hours with client contact information when applying (the log form is available on the ICF website)
Effective November 18, 2024, ICF has introduced an updated ACC exam that assesses candidates' knowledge of the core competencies of coaching, the code of ethics, and the definition of coaching. All detailed information is available on the ICF website.
Key points to know:
1. The exam is conducted online under the supervision of specialized professionals and consists of 60 questions with 4 answer options for each question
2. The ACC exam consists of two sections. The total duration of the test is 90 minutes, including a 10-minute break in the middle of the exam
3. Candidates who meet all the requirements are allowed to take the exam. You submit an application with your data and receive an invitation to the exam with instructions for preparation
4. The exam results will be available to you immediately after completion. You will see your result in the form of points (you need to score at least 460 points out of 600 possible - see here)
Why choose qualified coaches?
The ICF professional qualification is an international quality standard. Coaches who have completed the Level 1 program and received the ACC qualification guarantee their clients a structured approach and adherence to the code of ethics. This makes them the #1 choice for companies and private clients. According to an ICF study, 99% of clients who used a coach expressed satisfaction or a high degree of satisfaction with their experience, and 96% said they would use a coach again.
16930 coaches are qualified as ICF ACCs
*as of January 2025. This is the first of three possible levels, and with the changes that the Federation introduced in 2023-2024 both in the training programs and in the exam itself, it has become easier to become a coach with the ACC qualification. Only 8% of coaches in the world have an international qualification. With us, you will get the qualification and start a business on coaching services. According to ICF, coaching is recognized worldwide: in 2024, the services of qualified coaches were actively used in more than 150 countries where ICF has offices and is actively developing the market.
Developing key coaching competencies affects the way we think
During the training, the coach learns the ability to listen deeply and understand the client. This requires the coach to be aware of their own thoughts, emotions, and reactions. This process increases emotional intelligence, helps to build more harmonious relationships and make informed decisions. Working with the ACC competency keys in our program (establishing trust and creating agreements) allows you to learn to feel more confident, structure communication, ask accurate questions, and cope with unforeseen situations. This confidence manifests itself not only in professional activities but also in everyday life.
.Coaches with qualifications are in demand
Coaching is becoming an integral part of corporate culture and personal development. Coaches with the ACC qualification are especially in demand because they demonstrate the basic skills that guarantee quality client support.
.All about the program
Starts on March 17 - start every two weeks, at 18:30 Kyiv time in Zoom, and then 2 times a week for 2 hours in the evenings on Mondays and Wednesdays. Only 4 months of training!
Only 30 places in the group. A set of new streams starts every month. We are big and systematic :)
Training is in Ukrainian, Georgian, French, English, Russian or Portuguese. It is important to learn coaching in the language you think in.
We do not teach those who live in Russia or Belarus, pay taxes there and thus finance the war in Ukraine.
The gold standard of coaching is the 8 coaching competencies that are recognized by all major federations, and it is on their basis that the profession is developing.
The three coaching qualifications differ in the level of manifestation of these competencies, and for the ACC level (first level) there are a number of minimum requirements for the manifestation of skills (the so-called competency keys). You can learn more about this on the official website.
Competency keys help a novice coach learn how to create an effective space for working with a client. This is the basis of professionalism on which further growth to the PCC level is built.
The COACHING.UP program is designed to help you master these basic skills in 4 months across all 8 competencies.
You will learn how to focus on the client and help them realize what they want to achieve and how they can fully realize it.
This level of coaching is called the “What” level - focusing on goals, ways of realization, risk assessment, creating a supportive environment by the client, and supporting the client as a partner.
Beginning coaches, after completing the Level 1 program, successfully conduct such coaching sessions, and with the accumulation of experience, they learn to work in longer-term contracts.
The Level 1 program from COACHING.UP is designed to meet the needs of modern professionals, allowing you to combine your studies with work, personal life and other commitments. The online format allows you to study from anywhere in the world: you only need access to the Internet. This is an ideal option for those who value their time and prefer flexibility in their schedule.
The program includes 70.5 hours of training, which makes it one of the most optimal in terms of duration on the market, without compromising on quality.
25 hours of recordings, including lectures and demos. This format allows you to stop and return to complex topics as needed.
45.5 hours of online activities, including workshops, observed sessions with feedback, and group discussions. This approach combines independent work and active interaction with trainers and the group.
The program includes workshops and Q&A sessions to help you better understand the theoretical material.
Observed sessions and mentoring allow for individual feedback, which is especially valuable for reinforcing the ACC competency keys.
You will be supported by a professional team: more than 30 experienced coaches with ACC and PCC qualifications work with different groups, demonstrating a unique experience and perspective on coaching.
The program administrators and coaches are always available to answer questions and help you understand complex topics.
Our principle of diversity of styles from different coach-trainers allows you to gain maximum experience in demonstrating coaching competencies and eventually find your own style. We are confident, and it has been proven, that studying in a program with one or two coaches does not give such results.
Studying for the ACC level requires time, attention, and self-organization. Our Level 1 program takes these factors into account and creates the conditions under which each student can master coaching as effectively as possible.
You get 12 months of access to your personal account, where all the program materials are posted. This means that you will be able to return to the recordings of lectures, demos, and other materials even after you complete the program.
The COACHING.UP mobile app offers training records, a schedule of events, assignments, and additional resources, making learning even more convenient.

.The program is accredited by ICF Level 1
The program is accredited and meets all the standards of the federation, including individual and group mentoring, observed sessions, final assessment procedure and team compliance with the skill levels
will open up opportunities to work with clients around the world! You will learn to work with clients using competencies to help clients achieve their goals.
The Diploma confirms that you have completed a program that meets the ICF Level 1 standards and is the first step in preparing you to apply for the ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) qualification.
Be fully prepared for the ACC qualification
There are many coaches in the world, but only 8% of them are internationally qualified. You can check the number of coaches with qualifications on the ICF website. The Level 1 program from COACHING.UP is designed to prepare you to successfully pass the ICF ACC exam. We do not just teach - we accompany you at every stage: from mastering key competencies to submitting documents.
With a strong focus on practice in the program, students achieve significant changes in their lives by building confidence, developing emotional intelligence, and finding inner harmony.
Studying at the Level 1 program does not just provide knowledge and skills - it transforms the coach's very personality. Coaching according to international standards teaches you to work not with tools, but with your presence and awareness, which leads to profound changes in professional and personal manifestations.
Thanks to a structured approach, practical classes and mentoring support, you will be ready to offer your services.
The experience gained during the program allows you to start your practice with confidence, gradually expanding your client base and earning money from your practice.

The program is designed for those who want to:
-
Master the coaching profession from scratch.
-
Obtain an ACC-level qualification according to ICF standards.
-
Develop communication skills, listening abilities, and emotional intelligence.
-
Work with clients worldwide, including in an online format.
-
The Level 1 program is suitable for both beginners and those looking to structure their knowledge, already working in a helping profession, and seeking international recognition. Most students in the program invest in skill development, aiming to master coaching to strengthen their professional expertise, enhance communication skills, shift their mindset toward results-oriented thinking, and develop emotional intelligence.
You will be able to start a paid internship after the first training module, which will allow you to quickly apply your knowledge in practice and develop your skills in real work.
Upon completion, you will receive an internationally recognized Level 1 diploma that meets ICF standards, the skills and knowledge necessary to apply for an ACC qualification, and the confidence to work with clients and build a successful coaching career.
To earn an individual ICF qualification, you must complete an accredited program and accumulate a required number of client practice hours. The Level 1 program fully aligns with ICF requirements and prepares you for the ACC (Associate Certified Coach) qualification exam.
What are the requirements for obtaining an ACC qualification?
-
Complete the accredited Level 1 program.
-
Accumulate a minimum of 100 client coaching hours, with at least 75 of those being paid sessions.
-
Submit an application to ICF, including proof of practice hours.
-
Pass an online test to confirm your knowledge and skills.
How does the Level 1 program help with preparation?
-
We teach all essential coaching skills based on the 8 core coaching competencies required for successful skills assessment and the ICF exam.
-
The program includes practical training sessions to develop coaching skills and boost confidence.
-
We provide observed sessions and mentoring to ensure you meet high ICF standards.
Upon completing the program and meeting the requirements, you can apply for qualification, confidently pass the exam, and start your coaching career with international recognition.
-
By June 2024, a total of 2,085 students had completed the Level 1 and Level 2 programs at our university. Of these, 14% successfully passed ICF certification and obtained an individual qualification.
This figure is particularly impressive, considering that about 50% of students enroll not to pursue a coaching career but to enhance their personal skills and effectiveness in their current professional roles.
Our programs provide equal opportunities for those seeking professional certification and those looking to make positive changes in their personal and professional lives.
We offer the flexibility to pause your studies and take an academic break for any duration or request a refund if you decide to withdraw. You can stop at any time and receive a refund for any sessions you haven’t yet attended.
Refunds are issued minus an 8% deduction (bank fees and taxes). To request a refund, send an email to tanya@coachingup.university, including your bank card number and cardholder name in Latin characters. The refund will be processed within 15 calendar days at the National Bank of Ukraine’s exchange rate on the request date.
Important! We do not process refunds to bank cards issued in Russia or Belarus.
We value your trust and strive to make the refund process as simple and transparent as possible.
The speed at which you accumulate practice hours depends on your activity level and readiness to work with clients. The International Coaching Federation (ICF) allows students to start coaching practice while still enrolled in an accredited program.
We recommend starting client work about a month after beginning the program. By this time, you will have mastered key competencies and gained a clear understanding of the structure of a coaching session from start to finish.
