Today marks the completion of an important stage for the 8th cohort - behind you are months of learning, practice, professional discussions, and thoughtful work with coaching sessions. Ahead lies the opportunity to apply the knowledge you have gained in your own mentoring practice.
Being a mentor means more than simply evaluating a coach’s work. It is about the ability to ask precise questions, notice what may otherwise go unseen, support professional development, and create the conditions in which the coach can discover their own next point of growth.
Throughout the training, the participants of the 8th cohort:
explored international coaching standards and competencies;
learned to analyze coaching sessions and provide high-quality professional feedback;
developed mentoring dialogue skills and the ability to work with a variety of professional requests;
worked with real-life cases, practiced their skills, and received feedback;
observed the experience of professional mentors and developed their own working style.
The distinctive feature of mentoring practice lies in combining deep expertise with profound respect for another professional’s journey. That is why every mentoring interaction can become a turning point after which a coach begins to hear themselves more clearly, see the client more deeply, and work with greater precision.
