Congratulations to Zoriana Shtym on winning third place in the “Career Breakthrough” category of the COACHING.UP case competition!
See for yourself how this story leaves a lasting impression.
My journey to a career breakthrough began with a major challenge—leaving a stable job in the banking sector, where I had spent 10 years. As a successful manager working with premium clients and leading a team, I had a strong professional reputation and a stable income. However, deep inside, I felt that my true calling was something greater than achieving corporate goals.
Choosing a new path led me into a challenging yet exciting phase. Starting a coaching career required not only professional training but also a complete rethinking of my approach to work and life.
My breakthrough began with deep self-reflection. During my ICF training, I mastered powerful client work techniques, learned the importance of empathy, active listening, and asking the right questions. But the real challenge was applying this knowledge to develop my personal brand and attract potential clients.
I set an ambitious goal: to become a coach who transforms women’s lives, helping them discover their inner strength and balance. To achieve this, I actively built my presence on social media, creating content that reflected my values and experience.
One of my first achievements was organizing women’s transformational meetings, which resonated strongly with participants. Seeing how my work inspired others became my biggest motivation to keep going.
The next step was launching individual coaching sessions. I faced natural fears: Would clients trust me? Would I be able to help them achieve results? But each new session reinforced my confidence. My clients not only reached their goals but also discovered new possibilities in their relationships, careers, and self-fulfillment.
One of my biggest breakthroughs was creating an eight-week program that combined individual coaching sessions, mindset techniques, and ongoing support during transformational changes. This program allowed me to work more deeply with each client, and many of them shared that it became a turning point in their lives.
Another key achievement was combining coaching with my passion for event organization. Successful events, such as women’s meetups and seminars, brought together a community of women striving for change. This not only earned me professional recognition but also gave me incredible energy for further growth.
My career breakthrough also involved changing my approach to work. In the past, I focused on achieving KPIs, but now my goal is to create value for everyone who trusts me as a coach. I have learned to work not just with tasks but with human stories, fears, and dreams, helping clients find their true path.
On this journey, I realized that the most important element of a breakthrough is believing in yourself and continuously working on self-improvement. Coaching has given me the opportunity not only to help others but also to become a better version of myself every day.
I am proud that I was able to not only find a new career path but also build it based on my values, experience, and desire to help others. My breakthrough is a story of courage, perseverance, and love for my work. And I know this is only the beginning of my journey.
